The room your child would join
You see the actual classroom, the materials on the shelves, and the outdoor space during an ordinary part of the day. Watch how children move between activities and where they gather. Notice the fence around the playground and the toys within a child's reach.
The teachers
Meet the teacher who runs the room. Ask how a day runs and how they handle the first weeks with a new child. Teachers here are certified and experienced, and they can tell you what a morning looks like for a two, three, or four-year-old.
Your questions
Hours, meals, pickups, tuition: ask them all. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up. Bring your list, and leave with a clear picture of how your child's day would go.
Before you come
When you visit, bring your child. A tour works best when they can see the room, meet the teacher, and try a few toys while you talk. We have classes for 2, 3, and 4/5 year-olds. Call to set up a time that fits your day.
Ask about hours and pickup, meals and rest, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how parents hear about the day and what happens when a child is unwell. Write your questions down before you come, and add more as you walk through the rooms.
